How it's calculated
If your current grade covers everything except the final, the grade you need is: (target − current × (1 − final weight)) ÷ final weight.
Example: 72% before a final worth 40%, target 75%: (75 − 72 × 0.6) ÷ 0.4 = (75 − 43.2) ÷ 0.4 = 79.5%.
What next?
A big gap between your current grade and the grade you need calls for a precise study plan. Our guides on Calculus I and the Secondary 4 exam can help you focus.
Frequently asked questions
My course has assessments after the final. What then?+
The calculator assumes the final is the last assessment. If other work remains, add its weight to the final's for an estimate.
The result is over 100%. Is it over?+
Not necessarily: some teachers have special rules (retakes, best grade). Talk to them early.
Does it work for high school and university?+
Yes, the math is the same at every level.
