Why your child gets stuck in math
Most math struggles don't come from the current chapter. They come from an older idea that was never fully understood: fractions, negative numbers, order of operations. Our first session finds those gaps, and every session after that fills them while keeping up with what's happening in class.

Problem solving
Reading the question, picking a strategy, checking the answer: the most tested skill.
Algebra
Expressions, equations, inequalities and systems, step by step.
Functions
Linear, quadratic, exponential, rational: reading a graph and linking it to the rule.
Geometry
Area, volume, Pythagoras, trigonometry and similar figures.
CST, TS and SN streams
Support matched to the stream chosen in Secondary 4 and 5.

From what age can you help?
From grade 1. With younger children we use lots of hands-on work and drawings, in 45-minute sessions.
My child is in SN and finds it really hard. Is that normal?
Yes, SN is the most abstract stream. We work on the logic behind each rule so your child doesn't have to memorize everything.
Do you prepare for the Secondary 4 ministry exam?
Yes. From spring onward we practise with past exams and work on timing and problem situations.
Do you help with homework too?
Yes, but the goal is for your child to become independent, not for us to do the homework for them.
